Harry is following a call to mission he heard as a youngster more than 50 years ago. He teaches at the Recinto Universitario Teolόgico in Lima, where theological education takes seriously the strivings for a better life of Peru’s people. Debbie is the Young Adult Volunteer Coordinator for Peru. The YAVs are received by the Red Uniendo Manos Peru (Joining Hands Network) each year, which works to address the root causes of poverty in Peru, and are placed with one of their partner institutions. Debbie and Harry accompany them throughout their year of spiritual growth and vocational discernment with Bible study, prayer and guidance.
