As regional liaison for Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, and Poland, Gary senses a strong call to work toward peace and reconciliation between people in the United States and the former Soviet Union. “For decades, we were divided by politics, military alliances and fear,” Gary says. Today, he helps bring people together through the unity they share in Christ. Based in the United States, Gary serves as a bridge between partner churches (Orthodox, Baptist, Lutheran and Reformed) and other mission co-workers in the region and between PC (USA) entities and individuals engaged in mission in the five countries.
