Small Church Pastoral Residency Program Recommendation

For Such a Time as This is a pastoral residency project sponsored through the PC(USA) Office of Vocation. The project seeks to pair small, under-served congregations with candidates seeking their first call to ministry for a two-year residency. The congregations are mostly in remote areas of the country, but are able to support a full-time designated pastor and have affirmed their willingness to be transformed by this experience. Pastoral residents are supported through twice-monthly meetings with a pastor/mentor, both individually and with the other pastoral residents in the presbytery, and through three national gatherings with up to 15 other pastoral residents.
