Así Creemos
Así Creemos is our denominational Spanish curriculum for children. It teaches biblical truths to the children using the Bible and the belief documents of the church. The curriculum has four resources:
The Teacher’s Book is ordered quarterly for each teacher or class. It includes age-level characteristics for the class, a substitute teacher's guide and an overview chart for the quarter. Each session contains a Background for Teachers section to help teachers prepare for the lesson, a list of items to prepare and materials needed and two reproducible student pages per session. The book is in Spanish, with the materials for children in Spanish and English.
Take-Home Sheets are ordered quarterly for each student. These sheets contain a brief summary of the lesson, along with activities for the student to do at home. They also provide a vital link to parents or guardians. It is written in Spanish and English.
Class Resource Pack is ordered quarterly for each class. Children learn in many different ways, and the art, games, teaching pictures and music were developed to appeal to those multiple intelligences. It is written in Spanish and English.

The curriculum is designed for three age groups:
Preschool (Párvulos): 3-5 year olds
The preschool curriculum is targeted for ages three to five and assumes that the children are nonreaders. These activities and stories are especially appropriate for children who have not yet entered kindergarten.
Younger Elementary (Primarios): 6-8 year olds
The younger elementary curriculum is targeted for ages six to eight and has the early reader in mind. It is designed for Grades (K) 1-2 and considers many different learning styles.
Older Elementary (Principiantes): 9-10 (11) year olds
The older elementary curriculum is oriented to children ages nine and up to eleven that are in grades 3-5 (6). It presupposes that children are ready to engage biblical and theological material on a deeper level. The children will develop Bible study skills such as map reading and use of supplementary sources.
