Crossing Ten Seas
The theme of the 216th General Assembly 2004 is "That All May Have Life in Fullness," based on John 10:10b. This is also the theme for the 2004 World Alliance of Reformed Churches General Council meeting in Accra, Ghana. The Alliance has published a Bible Study based on that theme, entitled "Crossing Ten Seas" and authored by Reformed Christians from around the world. That same study has been adopted as the official Bible Study for the General Assembly.

Cuba Symposium: Biblical Theological Foundations of Partnership
In 1985, the Presbyterian Reformed Church in Cuba and the Presbyterian Church USA signed a “Mutual Mission Agreement”. Approaching 20 years of partnership guided by this agreement, 24 persons from the two Churches participated in a symposium on the Biblical-theological bases for mission partnership. These are the papers from the meeting. In October 2004, a group will gather to follow up on these reflections. Although the context here is Cuba-U.S. Presbyterian mission partnerships, the questions, concerns and insights presented in these papers and responses will be of interest to others engaged in building healthy and faithful cross-cultural partnerships in Christ's name. Text in English and Spanish.
