Seeing God at work and at play
In stillness, sit quietly in the presence of our awesome
God. Take some time with these pictures, and with energy, intelligence, imagination
and love, allow God's Spirit to evoke a prayer within you. Share your reflections on photos in our Flickr group. |

Is God Green?
Nurturing our spiritual lives has implications for how we care for the earth and its resources. This issue explores the correlation between God’s love for creation and our loving response to God. As people of faith we can enter into the conversation from a perspective that is spiritually motivated even if we don’t fully comprehend or appreciate the rhetoric of big business and oil companies, environmentalists and conservationists, celebrities and heads of state. It all begins with Genesis.

The Office of
Spiritual Formation
Coordinated through the Office of Spiritual Formation in the
General Assembly offices in Louisville, and planned in cooperation
with governing bodies and other church entities, the program
offers opportunities for experiencing and furthering the work
of the Holy Spirit in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Rather
than providing a "one-size-fits-all" program, the
goals of the office are:
- to provide resources for spiritual growth;
- to plan programs that meet specific needs in specific areas;
- to promote existing programs; and
- to identify and develop leadership in spiritual formation
