The Office of Congregational Transformation provides team training and one-on-one consultation for presbyteries and synods. For information on arranging a consultation or training session contact our staff.

In addition, we've provided a church development certification program created by the Presbytery of the James which you can use (and alter) as a model for congregational transformation in your presbytery or synod.

Training and events

Regional and presbytery sonsultations:
A gathering of churches or a presbytery wanting a one-on-one consultation.

Presbytery team training:
Does your presbytery need a strategy for transformation? Attend one of our team training events. Each team should consist of at least two members who work in Congregational Development, one from Community on Ministry, one from Finance and Resources and a staff member.

Pastor training:
Transformation Pastor Training is for those in a redevelopment congregation or thinking about it; includes the Dynamics of Congregational Transformation, Leadership Training, Self-Assessment and Visioning.

Congregational team training:
Does your presbytery have congregations that are interested in a cooperative training event? Contact our office about support to implement one of these events.

National and regional events:
National and regional training events and conferences are held annually. [Read more]
