Discovery Canyon brings kids full circle with amazing activities, lasting friendships and Bible adventures. Each day kids will explore the Word, make Bible connections, and collect critter friends — each carefully linked to the Bible verse and daily story.

Opening Celebration
Your amazing Discovery Canyon begins and ends each day with an opening celebration and a closing celebration. During the opening celebration everyone learns the daily theme, Bible story and Bible Memory Verse. There’s toe-tappin’ music to get the day going and help everyone remember the good news, too! Start now.

Discovery Canyon Mission Project
The evangelism theme invites kids to rejoice in the Word, tell others the story of Jesus and make a difference in the lives of other kids. This year’s PC(USA) mission project supports the Menaul School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fifty percent of the students at Menaul receive financial assistance and 70 percent identify themselves as racial and ethnic minority persons. The contributions VBS kids make will be used to provide tuition assistance to students who would not be able to attend Menaul School without it.
