- Become familiar with Peter and Cornelius's story and learn about each one's conversion, or change of heart.
- Watch a segment from the movie Racing Stripes and talk about being different.
- Find opportunities to learn, change, and grow.
The Computer Workshop explores Acts 10:1–48 using computers. Sometimes computers are used to tell the story, and sometimes they are used to respond to it. Objectives of the workshop:

- Explore how Peter learned that God's message of love and salvation is for all people.
- Consider how God speaks through dreams and visions.
- Read about Cornelius, a Gentile, who asked Peter to teach him about God's truth.
- Tell the story in their own words.
- Participate in the "One World Mural," a project to promote peace and acceptance.

The Drama/Storytelling Workshop explores Acts 10:1–48 by retelling the story in ways that help children remember it. Objectives of the workshop:

- Make shadow animals and learn sign language for some animals.
The Games and Puzzles Workshop explores Acts 10:1–48 by having children play biblically related games or puzzles. Objectives of the workshop:

- Find Acts 10:1–48, the story of Peter and Cornelius, in the Bible.
- Recall the story using sequence cards.
- Consider what it means to believe that God loves everyone.
The Music and Worship Workshop explores Acts 10:1–48 through music and makes the connection to worship in PC(USA) congregations. Objectives of the workshop:
The children will have the opportunity to:
- Hear the story of Peter and Cornelius.
- Experience playing and singing with rhythm instruments.
- Sing about God's acceptance of everyone with the songs "We Are One Big Happy Family" and "It Makes No Difference Who You Are."
The Bonus: Discovery Workshop explores Acts 10:1–48 through science. Objectives of the workshop:
The children will have the opportunity to:
- Observe that things are not always what they seem.
- Conduct a simple chemistry experiment that tests whether vinegar and/or powdered laundry detergent in solution change the color of red cabbage leaves.
