One of the primary goals of young adulthood is to determine one's vocation. This six-session study guide provides a biblical and theological understanding of vocation along with practical exercises to assist young adults in discerning their calling. The Reformed tradition points us to the stories of biblical men and women who have responded faithfully to God's call. Through their examples of faithful response, we develop a deeper understanding of the dynamics and elements of calling in our own lives. Or, as writer and theologian Frederick Buechner phrases it, God's "call" is found in the place where one's deep gladness meets the world's deep need.
