In addition to his leadership in the Presbyterian Church, Witherspoon was also president of the College of New Jersey (now Princeton University), a member of the New Jersey state legislature and the Continental Congress and the only clergy to sign the Declaration of Independence.

Like John Witherspoon, everything we do remains grounded in the wonderfully rich Presbyterian and Reformed tradition that has shaped so much of the life of our culture.
