This booklet provides a small-scale pattern for each Great Ends of the Church banner and a description of the symbolism used on each. This piece does not provide in-depth "instructions" for banner making, stitches, applique, or other techniques.

Use your imagination in choosing fabrics, stitches, threads, and other materials. The symbolism of the banner becomes more significant to particular congregations as traditional expressions of faith depicted graphically through the creative talents of church members.
