Hot Cakes and Hot Issues: Women’s Orientation Breakfast

Sponsored by the Office of Women’s Advocacy. 

Whet your appetite for justice — while enjoying pancakes — and connect with other advocates at the General Assembly. Hone your advocacy skills and learn the specifics about items of business before the Assembly. Sharpen your insights while interacting with the Moderator and Stated Clerk candidates (invited). All attendees leave with a copy of the “red book,” a one-stop guide to women’s issues at this Assembly.  Note: Those with dietary restrictions may request an alternate menu during advanced ticket sales only. Location: Marriott Hotel, Ballroom 1-4

We recognize the faithful witness of three women who have served the church as "Visionary Women Transforming the Church and Society.” We celebrate these women, who have transformed the church and society through their Christian witness, service and leadership.  Location: Fairmont Hotel, Imperial Ballroom

Women’s Advocacy Network Meeting

The grassroots network's inaugural meeting of women and allies to discuss denominational, national and global gender justice issues, make connections, begin to plan a way forward and brainstorm actions.  Seating is limited; tickets are required. For a free ticket, contact Molly Casteel by email.
