For Small church ministry
June 25 – July 3, 2008
The 2008 Summer Collegium at Virginia Theological Seminary – a project in support of small congregations – will be held June 25 – July 3, 2008. The Summer Collegium is available to ordained clergy. All costs related to the Collegium, including travel, room and board, books, pulpit supply and childcare are paid for by a grant from the Lilly Endowment Inc. Application forms are available on the Virginia Theological Seminary Web site. The deadline for completed applications is December 15, 2007.

13th National Conference on Domestic Violence
July 18–23, 2008
The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) will host its 2008 Conference, Building Grassroots Leadership for Social Justice, in Washington, D.C. from July 18–23. The conference will include a special track on faith-based work on domestic violence. There will be seven of these workshops, four of which will be presented by the FaithTrust Institute. Additionally, there will be a day of Legislative Action on July 22nd. Learn more about the NCADV and this conference.
The 11th AWID International Forum on Women's Rights and Development
"The Power of Movements"
From November 14-17, 2008, up to 1,500 women's rights activists from around the world will gather in Cape Town, South Africa, to debate and strategize about how to build stronger women's movements globally.
