Us
The Office
of Women's Advocacy, a part of Women's
Ministries, is engaged in the ministry of advocacy for women
in the following ways and more:
- provides information and resources on issues affecting
women in the church and society;
- builds and maintains a network
of advocates for women in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.);
- organizes
national women's advocacy consultations
and training events;
- produces resources for empowerment of women through education
- sends
out communications and action
alerts for information and
advocacy; and
- works for women's advocacy in partnership with other
GAC offices, committees and ecumenical coalitions.
Our office also staffs the Advocacy
Committee for Women's
Concerns. |
