About Us

The Office of Women's Advocacy, a part of Women's Ministries, is engaged in the ministry of advocacy for women in the following ways and more:

  • provides information and resources on issues affecting women in the church and society;
  • builds and maintains a network of advocates for women in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.);
  • organizes national women's advocacy consultations and training events;
  • produces resources for empowerment of women through education
  • sends out communications and action alerts for information and advocacy; and
  • works for women's advocacy in partnership with other GAC offices, committees and ecumenical coalitions.

Our office also staffs the Advocacy Committee for Women's Concerns.
