This commission serves to pursue justice in church and society, especially the elimination of poverty in the United States, racial justice, justice for women, environmental justice and responses to the urban crisis.

Church World Service Women and Children Advocacy
The relief, development and refugee assistance ministry of 35 Protestant, Orthodox and Anglican denominations in the United States working in partnership with indigenous organizations in more than 80 countries. CWS works worldwide to meet human needs and foster self-reliance for all whose way is hard.

Reformed Church in America
Demonination Web site provides resources with a Reformed perspective on abuse and violence.

Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

V-Day: Until the Violence Stops
V-Day is a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. V-Day promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations.

Family Violence Prevention Fund
This organization works to prevent violence within the home and in the community, and to help those whose lives are devastated by violence.

United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM)
UNIFEM provides financial and technical assistance to innovative programs and strategies to foster women's empowerment and gender equality.

United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF)
UNICEF works to overcome the obstacles that poverty, violence, disease and discrimination place in a child's path.

Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN)
The nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization provides a national sexual assault hotline, educates the public about sexual assault, and leads national efforts to improve services to victims and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.

Coalition Against Trafficking in Women
