  Administrative Personnel Association   Administrative Personnel Association

The Administrative Personnel Association is a professional association for administrative staff of churches, governing bodies, agencies and institutions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). This organization is made up of friendly, loving people from all over the country who have bonded and have become a support line for one another. The common denominator for the people who belong to APA is their love for God and the church and their sense of service to humankind.

The Association of Presbyterian Church Educators (APCE) is a professional association concerned with the advancement of education in the church and is committed to the ongoing witness of our faith in the gospel. APCE members include educators and ministers serving in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the Reformed Church in America, the Presbyterian Church in Canada and the Christian Reformed Church in North America. The mission of APCE is to connect, enrich, empower and sustain persons serving in educational ministry in the Reformed family of Churches.

 
             
   
     

Presbyterian Health, Education and Welfare Association (PHEWA)

Presbyterian Health, Education and Welfare Association (PHEWA) is a voluntary membership association made up of 11 networks that provide advocacy and resources in the fields of social welfare and justice ministries. It is also a place where those within the Presbyterian Church who have been excluded and marginalized may gather for assistance, organization, formation and mutual support.

Two of these networks of interest to women are:

Presbyterians Against Domestic Violence Network (PADVN)
PADVN welcomes those who promote non-violence in all relationships. The network provides advocacy and resources for the preventing of and healing from societal and domestic violence.

Presbyterians Affirming Reproductive Options (PARO)
PARO welcomes those who support the full range of reproductive options that ensure that every child is loved and wanted. They are committed to ensuring that the policy of the PC(USA) is articulated, understood, and preserved for future generations.

National Association of Presbyterian Clergywomen (NAPC)

The National Association of Presbyterian Clergywomen (NAPC) seeks to enable all Presbyterian clergywomen to support, nurture, advocate for and empower each other.

  Washington Office  

Washington Office

The Presbyterian Washington Office is the public policy information and advocacy office of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Its task is to advocate, and help the church to advocate, the social witness perspectives and policies of the Presbyterian General Assembly.

One of the best ways to further our public policy ministries is by joining an issue network. The Women & Families Issue Network produces quarterly letters and suggests way to advocate on behalf of women and families.

Church Women United

Church Women United is a racially, culturally, theologically inclusive Christian women’s movement, celebrating unity in diversity and working for a world of peace and justice. They lead in the celebration of World Day of Prayer, World Community Day, May Fellowship Day and many other worthy projects. The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC)

The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC) was founded in 1973 to safeguard the newly won constitutional right to abortion. It is a pro-faith, pro-choice voice seeking to protect the reproductive rights of women within a faith context.
