In 1999, she founded the
Professional Organization for Women Entrepreneurs so that women
in leadership could have colleagues and mentors. She grew up
as a Presbyterian P.K. (preacher's kid) and because her father's
call to ministry took the family from her native home in Puerto
Rico to all over the United States and Panama, she learned
how to give of herself in the areas of evangelism, fellowship,
communications and hospitality. Presently serving on the session,
Ruth has brought innovative ideas as well as a spiritual presence
to her witness and service in her downtown church, Westminster
Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis, Minn. |
