Australia

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has been working with the Uniting Church in Australia (a part of the former Presbyterian Church in Australia) more than 110 years. The PC(USA) works through partner church relationships. The Australian Presbyterians participated in the formation of the Presbyterian Church of Korea and continue to work with the Korean Church as partners.

The Uniting Church gives particular attention to the issues of peace and reunification of Korea and sharing food aid with North Korea.

There have been exchange visits between the Uniting Church and the PC(USA) over the years, Uniting Church representatives being received at the PC(USA) General Assembly, the Gathering of Presbyterian Women, a youth conference, and other ecumenical events. PC(USA) women have participated in a travel seminar in Australia. The PC(USA) also works with Uniting Church in Australia as partners in Vanuatu and other Pacific island countries.
