Trinity Theological
College is an ecumenical seminary founded in 1942 through the joint
efforts of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, the Methodist Church
of Ghana, the United (joint) Anglican Diocesan Council of Ghana,
and the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Ghana. |

Mission: |
The aim of Trinity
Theological College is to train pastors and lay leaders for service
in the churches of Ghana and the West African subregion. In the
53 years of its existence, this school has trained church leaders
from Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Cameroon, Nigeria, Togo,
Sierra Leone, Liberia, Gambia, U.S.A., Britain, Germany, and Switzerland. |

Needs: |
The present challenge
for Trinity College is meeting the growing needs for trained clergy
and church leaders for the growing churches in Africa. The school
is constrained by its limited resources, especially in the area
of accommodating faculty and students. However, the school is trying
to make theological education accessible to as many people as possible. |

Church Relationship: |
In addition to
the sponsoring churches mentioned above, there are partner churches
such as the A.M.E. Zion Church, African Methodist Church, the Mennonite
Church, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church. |
