  History: Founded in 1972 by the Evangelical Church of Former Yugoslavia, the Evangelical Theological Seminary (ETS) is presently in the process of affiliation to the State University of Osijek.

 
       
  Profile:

ETS has trained 30 generations of students who are now ministering on all continents and in more than 40 nations. The seminary serves over 80 full-time and 200 part-time students who represent 18 countries and 9 denominatio0ns. Our school offers both undergraduate and graduate programs, plus theological education by extension and pedagogical training for teachers of religious education. Eight institutes have been founded by ETS and are affiliated to our seminary: Institute for Christian Education and Culture, Institute for Christian Psychological Counseling, International Correspondence Institute, Institute for Life, Peace and Justice, Institute for Protestant Studies, Institute for Church Music, Institute for Missiology, Multimedia Center.

 
       
  Mission: The Evangelical Theological Seminary is an international, interdenominational institution of higher education dedicated to training Christian workers to serve church and society in the post-communist world, particularly in Eastern and Central Europe and the former Soviet Union. We are dedicated to providing quality, Biblically based, theological education from an evangelical perspective. We are committed to training theologians, pastors, evangelists, teachers, missionaries and teachers of Christian education and theology. This is accomplished through classroom instruction, seminars, independent supervised study, development of community life, exerciese of practical minsitry, education by extension, specialized institutes, and sponsorship of conferences in partnership with existing and emerging Christian movements in these countries.

 
       
  Church Relationship: Although the Seminary is founded by the Evangelical Church of Former Yugoslavia, ETS is an interdenominational school who has professors and students representing a large spectrum of denominations.

 
       
  Needs: We have a great need of missionaries who are willing to dedicate their skills and time for training our students at different English levels and for administrative tasks.
