Hunger

In 2006 the Presbyterian Hunger Program made the following grant through the World Council of Churches:

Conference of Churches in Guatemala (CIEDEG) — $10,000
Emergency Assistance for Migrants and Uprooted Peoples
Helping 100 displaced families to become productive and integrated and assisting with promotion of HIV/AIDS prevention through education and referral.

Self-Development

In 2006 the PC(USA) Self-Development of People program made this grant:

Development Association “ADESOGUA,” Quetzaltenango, $15,000 to a group of women for raising chickens and rabbits and operating small family farm to produce, consume and sell food.
