Honduras Partner Churches and Organizations
The Christian Commission for Development (CCD) was founded in 1982 by a group of committed Christians from many Protestant denominations who felt they could serve in areas of development and emergency assistance. With headquarters in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, CCD also has regional offices in different parts of the country. In 2002 CCD restructured its focus and organization. The new policy is "Local Development with Citizen Participation." The goal is to educate and promote citizen involvement in local systems in order to affect change for the good of the community. |
