The Christian Commission for Development

The CCD, an organization made up of churches working in more than 100 communities in six regions of Honduras, assists in small animal production and agriculture, health, small industry, leadership and community development, literacy, and pastoral and theological training.

Hunger

In 2008 the Presbyterian Hunger Program made the following grant:

Cooperative Regional Agricola Ambiental de Occidente Limitada (COPRAOL) — $12,000
Storing Basic Grains on the Community Level
This project creates a revolving loan fund for members of the cooperative as well as a system for storing and self-supplying basic grains in order to address food crises.
