Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Mission and Witness in the Middle East

A 24-minute self-running PowerPoint presentation, "Presbyterian Mission and Witness in the Middle East,' is one element of a new and comprehensive CD resource that has been created by a team of General Assembly Council offices. The resource focuses on the current and historic Presbyterian witness in the countries of Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel/Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.

The CD also contains a step-by-step guide for using the presentation in a one-hour study session and the Resolution on the Middle East, adopted by the 1997 General Assembly. Additional materials on the CD are "Presbyterian Mission and Witness in the Middle East: An Introduction," a file that can be printed and used as a handout, and a list of Web links to Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) offices engaged in mission and witness in the Middle East.
