In 2007 the Presbyterian Hunger Program made the following grants:
Concerned Christian Community – Food Crop Development and Empowerment of Poor People and Communities $10,000
Restoring training facilities that had been looted during the war and promoting organic farming.
Sampson Saywon Boah Institute - Agricultural Project for Rice
Production and Animal Husbandry $8,000
Supporting sustainable farming practices with small farmers and formerly displaced populations.
West Africa Integrated Training Initiative $50,000
Training and small community development activities aimed at alleviating hunger supported by Presbyterian Hunger Program, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance and Self-Development of People. (Agricultural Missions, Inc.)
Young Women's Christian Association of Liberia (YWCA) Piggery Project: Sustainably Targeting the Elimination of Hunger $10,000
Establishing a pilot hog farm from which other YWCAs will find pigs for projects to fight hunger.
