There is a channel through which gifts can be designated for specific items that support the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)'s work around the world. These are called Extra Commitment Opportunities (ECOs). You can give directly to an ECO account online or by mailing your check designating the name and account number of the particular item you have chosen to:

Evangelism

Wa (Thailand) PFF (Presbyterian Frontier Fellowship)

The PC(USA) is involved in ministry to the Wa people in Burma and Thailand. Funds support evangelists in their work, distribution of Bibles and hymnals, a hostel for school children, leadership development and prostheses for amputees who are victims of landmines.

Mission Personnel

Based in Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, Amy Davisson coordinates a refugee ministry among Burmese. She assists with programs that facilitate ethnic unity and reconciliation among the ethnic peoples of Myanmar (Burma) who now live in Thailand.

Other Support

Presbyterian Church of Myanmar (Burma)

The Presbyterian Church of Myanmar (formerly Burma) was formed in 1956 and now has 200 congregations with more than 25,000 members. Because of civil war and unrest in the past several years there is an urgent need for funds to cover operating costs.
