Peru

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) traces the beginning of its involvement in Peru to the early 1900s through Presbyterian mission efforts from Scotland and the United States.  One of our partner churches in Peru is a union of those two early traditions and also a union of Mestizo and Amerindian Presbyterians.  The PC(USA) has an additional partnership with another church with a strong Reformed heritage, the Evangelical Church of Peru.

The PC(USA)'s mission personnel in Peru work with Joining Hands against Hunger, with Presbyterians who do short-term mission work, and in theological education.
