Vanuatu Programs and Projects
Education
Onesua Presbyterian High School, founded in 1954,
has gradually grown from a first class of 12 boys living in two-man
huts to a modern campus with an enrollment of almost 400 boys
and girls. The students and their parents have helped over the
years with construction of new classrooms and dormitories, as
well as planting coconut trees and gardens to help make the school
self-sufficient. The school accepts students from throughout
Vanuatu for grades 7 through 13. Students study religious education,
technology, and agriculture as well as academic subjects. |
