The Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa (UPCSA) is the result of the union of two churches — the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa and the Presbyterian Church of South Africa. It is the largest PC(USA) partner church in Southern Africa, having presbyteries in Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa and is a reflection of the racial, cultural and socioeconomic diversity in this region of Africa. As such the church faces a number of challenges and opportunities for ministry in the countries it serves. Gifts to this ECO will help the UPCSA with rural development, lay and pastoral training and development, evangelistic outreach and ministries of racial reconciliation.
