The Cincinnati program aims to plant you, a young adult intern, in an urban or transitional neighborhood where, along with the church, you will explore and become equipped to develop ministries for that neighborhood.

Placement Opportunities
Volunteers will participate in the life and ministry of a local church. In addition, volunteers are expected to seek out and contribute to a local service agency. Specific position tasks and responsibilities will vary depending upon placement in Cincinnati.

Housing
Each volunteer will live in community with three to five other volunteers for the year in an urban or transitional neighborhood.

Intentional Community Aspects
The Cincinnati Young Adult Volunteers will join with churches to discover new ways to build relationships with their urban neighbors, explore intentional Christian living in an urban setting and discover what it means to be the presence of Christ.
