Responding to requests from presbyteries, pastor
nominating committees, search committees, and church professionals
for a faster, more accessible matching and referral system, the
Office of Call Referral Services developed Church Leadership Connection
(CLC).
CLC is the denominational Web-based
matching and referral system for all Presbyterians. CLC is also
available to persons who do not have access to the Internet.
Pastors, church educators, youth ministers,
administrators, synod and presbytery executives, or other church
professionals can complete the Personal Information Form (PIF)
and submit it to Call Referral Services. The same PIF is used
for all types of positions and all ecclesiastical statuses.
The same is true for a pastor nominating committee or search
committee submitting the Church Information Form (CIF).
The Church Leadership Connection system provides
easy access, user-friendly forms, instant posting of opportunities
and instant retrieval of matching data. A system of Log-in IDs
and passwords guarantee security and confidentiality.
The Office of Call Referral Services provides
tools and leadership for using CLC and matching services for
congregations and search committees located in presbyteries
that do not do their own matching.
