John 1: 29-34
The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him and declared, "Here
is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! This
is he of whom I said, 'After me comes a man who ranks ahead
of me because he was before me.' I myself did not know him;
but I came baptizing with water for this reason, that he might
be revealed to Israel." And John testified, "I saw
the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it remained
on him. I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to
baptize with water said to me, 'He on whom you see the Spirit
descend and remain is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.'
And I myself have seen and have testified that this is the Son
of God."

John 20: 1-10
Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark,
Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been
removed from the tomb. So she ran and went to Simon Peter and
the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them,
"They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not
know where they have laid him." Then Peter and the other
disciple set out and went toward the tomb. The two were running
together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the
tomb first. He bent down to look in and saw the linen wrappings
lying there, but he did not go in. Then Simon Peter came, following
him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen wrappings lying
there, and the cloth that had been on Jesus' head, not lying
with the linen wrappings but rolled up in a place by itself.
Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went
in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand
the scripture, that he must rise from the dead. Then the disciples
returned to their homes.

Luke 3: 21-22
Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also
had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened, and
the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove.
And a voice came from heaven, "You are my Son, the Beloved;
with you I am well pleased."

Luke 24: 1-12
But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came
to the tomb, taking the spices that they had prepared. They
found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went
in, they did not find the body. While they were perplexed about
this, suddenly two men in dazzling clothes stood beside them.
The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground,
but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living
among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. Remember how
he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of
Man must be handed over to sinners, and be crucified, and on
the third day rise again." Then they remembered his words,
and returning from the tomb, they told all this to the eleven
and to all the rest. Now it was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary
the mother of James, and the other women with them who told
this to the apostles. But these words seemed to them an idle
tale, and they did not believe them. But Peter got up and ran
to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths
by themselves; then he went home, amazed at what had happened.

Mark 1: 9-11
In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized
by John in the Jordan. And just as he was coming up out of the
water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit descending
like a dove on him. And a voice came from heaven, "You
are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased."

Mark 16: 1-8
When the sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother
of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and
anoint him. And very early on the first day of the week, when
the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. They had been saying
to one another, "Who will roll away the stone for us from
the entrance to the tomb?" When they looked up, they saw
that the stone, which was very large, had already been rolled
back. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man, dressed
in a white robe, sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.
But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed; you are looking
for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised;
he is not here. Look, there is the place they laid him. But
go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going ahead of you
to Galilee; there you will see him, just as he told you."
So they went out and fled from the tomb, for terror and amazement
had seized them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were
afraid.

Matthew 3: 13-17
Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan, to be baptized
by him. John would have prevented him, saying, "I need
to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?" But Jesus
answered him, "Let it be so now; for it is proper for us
in this way to fulfill all righteousness." Then he consented.
And when Jesus had been baptized, just as he came up from the
water, suddenly the heavens were opened to him and he saw the
Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And
a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, the Beloved,
with whom I am well pleased."

Matthew 28: 1-10
After the sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning,
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. And
suddenly there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord,
descending from heaven, came and rolled back the stone and sat
on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white
as snow. For fear of him the guards shook and became like dead
men. But the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid;
I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He
is not here; for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the
place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples,
'He has been raised from the dead, and indeed he is going ahead
of you to Galilee; there you will see him.' This is my message
for you." So they left the tomb quickly with fear and great
joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them
and said, "Greetings!" And they came to him, took
hold of his feet, and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them,
"Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee;
there they will see me."
