About this blog

Better Together provides a space to share experiences with – and strategies for engaging – three critical global issues that PC(USA) global partners are challenging us to address together as the body of Christ.  These three issues are 1) addressing root causes of poverty, especially as it impacts women and children; 2) sharing the Good News of God’s love in Jesus Christ; and 3) working for reconciliation in cultures of violence, including our own.  The purpose of Better Together is to feed a conversation to shape concrete action strategies at the October 2012 “Dallas II: Better Together” consultation and beyond.

You're Invited!

We would like to let you know that some seats have opened up for the Dallas II—Better Together consultation for additional participants, and we want to give you the opportunity to be a part of it. To ensure that we have a broad range of participants from across the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) who are actively engaged in, and passionate about, global mission, we are asking that you submit your request to attend Dallas II no later than Friday, August 24. In this way, the consultation will be enriched by diverse voices and insights.

Dallas II registration costs: General registration: $345 includes 2 nights lodging (American Airlines Training and Conference Center) and 6 meals/refreshment snacks. Day registration: $160 includes 6 meals/refreshment snacks. Observer registration: $160 includes 6 meals/refreshment snacks (you must make arrange your own lodging; we can provide a list of hotels in the immediate area).
