Our day began at 7:00a.m.

Our day began at 7:00 and eleven and a half hours later I have a substantial enough break to finally be able to share some thoughts.  It is day 4 of being here in Minneapolis and I am already having trouble keeping track of the days.  I have had many opportunities to reconnect with long time friends and meet many new people.  The most exciting part has been being able to participate in the process of wrestling with important issues to determine where the Spirit is moving the church.  Our Young Adult Advisory Delegates have been playing an integral part in our committee discussions and there voices have been there to guide us back to the matters at hand on numerous occassions.

I am so thankful to see so many young people here leading the church into the future.  My hope for this assembly is that we are all able to step out in faith to follow this path that God has led us to.
