Sevan Children’s Rehabilitation Center

In the quiet lakeside town of Sevan, in Armenia’s Gegharkunik region, a remarkable transformation is taking place.

At the Sevan Children’s Rehabilitation Center, children with disabilities and developmental disorders are learning to speak, walk, and connect—often for the first time. • Leo, age 4, with hearing loss and motor delays, has begun to understand speech and respond with joy.
• Angelina, age 4, with Down syndrome, now follows complex instructions and expresses herself more clearly.
• Maria, age 6, who has cerebral palsy, is learning to describe pictures and tell short stories.
