Earth Care Congregation: Bike, Walk & Carpool to Church (Cottage Grove, OR)

First Presbyterian Church of Cottage Grove, Oregon is one of the PCUSA certified Earth Care Congregations.

 

For three years now, it has hosted a "Bike, Walk & Carpool to Church" the entire month of July!  Families get together and bike to church, and others walk and carpool to morning worship. It has been a huge success!  Members have fun, get healthy, protect the earth, build community, and some even win prizes (stamp books and coffee cards)!
