Cents-Ability Guide

Document
Ideas for beginning and sustaining a Cents-Ability program to raise funds for hunger ministries
Ideas for starting and sustaining Cents-Ability collections for hunger ministries

Cents-Ability is a small first step in the battle against hunger and poverty. Congregations invite every member — of all ages — to contribute a few cents at every meal. Some presbyteries and congregations call this 2 Cents-a-Meal or a similar name.

The guide contains information on how to initiate and implement a Cents-Ability program, worship resources, and promotional ideas. It includes ideas for congregations, families, youth, and children who want to help fight hunger. 39 pages

Mailing Information

Many congregations share a portion of the funds raised through their Cents-Ability program with the Presbyterian Hunger Program (PHP) to support national and international hunger projects. Gifts for PHP can be sent through your normal PC(USA) mission giving channels and designated for H000107-CentsAbility.

They can also be given online at https://pcusa.org/donate/h000107-cents-ability or marked for H000107-CentsAbility and mailed to the following address.
