  1. Jonas, Holy Week is traditionally set aside for all the activities of prayer, scripture reading, and service to others that each church deems important for growth in the knowledge and love of God. Encouraging daily prayer and scripture reading is the most important daily activity in Holy Week. Maundy Thursday is a day when your church may do intentional service in the community as a way of extending Christ's new commandment that we love one another as he has loved us and served us by taking on servant service in washing our feet. Sometimes our best activity is doing nothing but being open in prayer to what God wants to say to us and through us.
