Order for the Extended Serving of the Communion of the Church
The 211th General Assembly (1999) confirmed an amendment to the Book of Order providing for the extended serving of the Lord’s Supper to members isolated from congregational worship. An order of service for use by elders and deacons is accompanied by pastoral guidance, explanatory notes and practical suggestions.
