This download also contains an outline for a "Manual of Administrative Operation". Many Session could satisfy G-3.0106 para. 3 by adapting this outline to cite, rather than incorporate, their existing policies, giving name, date of adoption or cognizant group/committee/team. Incorporating existing policies by reference, rather than creating a new document, should facilitate future updates. For example, the calendar for Christ Presbyterian Church (yourcpc . net / calendar) is updated every time the Session meets. Thus our Manual for Operations would point to our website. Incorporating by reference within a Manual for Operations would also facilitate structuring or restructuring a council to match form to mission, as unaffected policies would merely be cited in a new location.
