We don’t often discuss the weight of educational debt, but it's an important issue. The PCUSA Financial Aid for Service office offers support and coaching to help you manage and reduce your educational debt.

By working one-on-one with a student loan coach, you can achieve the following:

• Understand your student loans. A comprehensive review of your loans, both private and federal, will be provided. Your coach will help you choose the repayment plan that works best for you.
• Determine eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. Understand the PSLF program and find out if you qualify for loan forgiveness.
• Navigate the complicated PSLF application process. Remove the hassle and confusion of documenting employment, switching loan types, and other paperwork-heavy processes. Your coach will not only walk you through the paperwork but will also file it for you.

People who can benefit from this program are employed by:

• Presbyterian Church (USA) worshiping communities.
• Mid-councils and church corporations.
• Presbyterian-related school, college, university or seminary.
• Teaching Elders.
• Presbyterian-related camp and conference center.
• UKIRK registered ministries chaplains and campus ministers.
• Presbyterian homes and services for the aging.
