Board of Pensions launches Mayo Clinic ‘EmbodyHealth’ Web site
by Jennifer Schoettle

PHILADELPHIA — Benefits Plan members of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s Board of Pensions (BOP) with questions about their health now have access to a new tool. On Feb. 1, the BOP launched Mayo Clinic EmbodyHealth, a Web site it says “offers a reliable, private, and secure resource where plan members can explore topics on health and wellness and receive personalized health information.”
The Mayo Clinic EmbodyHealth Web site features health information, programs, and tools from the health experts at Mayo Clinic, one of the most trusted names in healthcare. EmbodyHealth highlights information on BOP resources and healthy lifestyle programs such as tobacco cessation, weight management, and the Preventive Incentive, which provides cash incentives to plan members who undergo regular routine health screenings.
Plan members can access the wellness Web site.
The BOP oversees benefits programs for PC(USA) workers and their families. Additionally, when the needs of church workers or their families exceed the bounds of the Benefits Plan, personal resources, or other means, its Assistance Program provides an important safety net. For more information, call 800-773-7752, ext. 7222, or visit the Board of Pensions' page on Assistance Programs.
