CHICAGOMcCormick Theological Seminary has appointed the Rev. Jennifer Ryan Ayres assistant professor of Christian ethics. She is a graduate Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education and is currently completing her doctoral dissertation from Emory University, where her studies have been concentrated on religious practices and practical theology. Ayres is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and served Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC, as an interim associate pastor with youth and their families.

PRINCETON, NJ – Four new members of the administrative staff have been appointed at Princeton Theological Seminary. Janice S. Ammon was appointed the Bryant M. Kirkland Minister of the Chapel; Deborah Kerr Davis was appointed director of field education; Carolyn Browning Helsel was appointed associate director of admissions; and Lori A. Neff was appointed associate director of field education. Michael Livio, who previously served as the seminary’s assistant for admissions and financial aid, also was promoted to associate director of financial aid.

RICHMOND, VA – The One in Mission campaign, a $50 million effort for Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education begun in 2001, concluded June 30 with more than $56 million in commitments to the seminary. The largest campaign in the seminary’s history, the One in Mission effort drew support from nearly 6,200 individuals, alumni, churches and foundations. The campaign launched Union-PSCE at Charlotte, began the renovation of a historic library building into the Allen and Jeannette Early Center for Christian Education and Worship, endowed seven professorships in Richmond and Charlotte, boosted faculty support in additional areas, provided scholarships for students and supported programs like the Asian American Ministry and Mission Center and Project Burning Bush. There were more than 2,000 new donors to Union-PSCE over the period of the One in Mission campaign.
