Call Process Support

The Office of Call Process Support collaborates with mid councils throughout the call process, including the conclusion of pastoral relationships, the formation of search committees, and the identification of potential candidates for open positions.
Presbyteries are responsible for developing policies for various aspects of their ministry. We provide resources, tools, and networking opportunities for presbyteries, committees and commissions working with congregations, minister members, Commissioned Ruling Elders, etc., leveraging the latest insights from across the denomination.
One of the tools developed to support our mid councils and congregations is the CLC system. The CLC system was developed as a matching tool for congregations that have a position opened and the call seekers who are looking for opportunities all around the country. After 20 years, the system has been upgraded, and in June 2023 the new CLC system was launched. Click on the links below to access the CLC system.
Training for Committees on Ministry or their equivalent is available for groups of presbyteries or synod gatherings.

To give the best support to our presbyteries, we are always looking to learn the different issues across the communities the presbyteries serve and the ideas and actions they are utilizing to resolve these issues. We are encouraged to listen in to presbytery and committee meetings where these decisions are analyzed and reviewed.
Contact the office of the Manager of Call Process Support for more information or to schedule a meeting, training, or invitation.
Church Leadership Connection and the Call Process were recently featured on an episode of “Along the Road.”
The third season of Along the Road — a podcast on faith and leadership for ministry leaders of the PC(USA) — is available now.
