Malaysia

Malaysia is a diverse country, both ethnically and religiously. Most of the population is ethnic Malay and mostly Muslim, while a third of the population is ethnic Chinese, of whom a large minority is Christian.

The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) works in Malaysia in cooperation with its church partner, the Presbyterian Church in Malaysia. This church grew out of the Presbyterian Church of Singapore about 25 years ago. It supports two seminaries, the interdenominational Malaysian Theological Seminary and the Malaysian Bible Seminary, which primarily serve the church’s ethnic Chinese churches.
