International Young Adult Volunteer Site Coordinators

International YAV Site Coordinator Global Ecumenical Liaisons are essential leaders in the Young Adult Volunteer Program, grounding volunteers in meaningful cross-cultural mission, spiritual formation, and community engagement. They walk alongside young adults throughout their service year, accompanying them through both the joys and challenges of ministry, while helping them cultivate strong, mutual relationships with partners in the country where they serve. 

International YAV Site Coordinator GELs nurture long-standing partnerships, mentor volunteers in vocational discernment, support simple living practices, and ensure the program’s core values are embodied in daily life. They also serve as cultural interpreters, logistical coordinators, and pastoral companions; guiding volunteers as they grow into globally aware, justice-oriented leaders in the church and world. 

International YAV sites include Peru, the Philippines, South Korea, and the US/Mexico Borderlands.
