She earned a doctorate in philosophy with an ethics focus from Loyola University in Chicago. She also holds a Master of Divinity, yet fully embraces her secular role as the Forum’s new leader.

With a long history of civic engagement, she has held various positions with Midwest colleges and universities, nonprofits and churches, and has a special interest in celebrating longtime Forum supporters and reaching out to new generations.

She describes herself as a “fund and friendraiser, administrator, event and program leader, and ethical thought leader,” emphasizing that “ethics matter, and in this moment, they are profoundly vital for the flourishing of our lives, our communities, our institutions and our democracy.”

Her tenure begins as the Westminster Town Hall Forum marks 45 years of bringing speakers of conscience to address issues of the day from an ethical perspective.
