At Pres House, UW–Madison students find belonging
Pres House provides space for faith, conversation and community
MADISON, Wisconsin — Pres House at the University of Wisconsin–Madison has served as a campus ministry for students since 1907, offering worship services and community programming.
The ministry is openly LGBTQ+ inclusive and is led by two BIPOC pastors. It brings together students from a range of religious traditions, cultural backgrounds and personal identities.
According to Pres House, students participate in weekly worship services, shared meals and group conversations aimed at building relationships and encouraging personal growth.
The organization welcomes students with a variety of faith backgrounds, including those exploring spirituality or uncertainty about religion.
Leaders say the goal is to create a space where students feel a sense of belonging and can engage in meaningful conversation during their college years.
