Evolving Together in Global Mission

Global Ecumenical Partnerships connects, equips, and accompanies people in shared work and witness for God's work in the world. The office brings together staff and ministries to advance partnership, equity, faithful ministry rooted in presence, relational accompaniment, and continued listening as we build forward.

Global Ecumenical Partnerships encompasses three foci: international partnerships, U.S. partnerships, and the Presbyterian Hunger Program. The office serves constituents — including mid councils, congregations, new worshiping and diaspora communities, ethnic caucuses, mission networks, ecumenical partners, and global partners such as local nonprofits and community-based connections — to advance shared ministry. GEP prioritizes locally discerned, partner-led initiatives, ensuring that shared witness follows relationships and that local wisdom guides decision-making.

The New Way of Global Engagement

Staff from the office of Global Ecumenical Partnerships welcome you from across the globe and invite you to join them in forming meaningful and sustainable partnerships across denominations, faiths and cultures to restore relationships with each others, with God and with creation. To learn more, go to pcusa.org/gep.

Roles Supporting GEP

Three key roles organize the work of Global Ecumenical Partnerships:

  • Managers – Lead teams working with international partnerships, U.S. partnerships, and the Presbyterian Hunger Program to coordinate ministry and steward relationships.
  • Global Ecumenical Liaisons – Serve as bridges between the PC(USA) and constituents, connecting people with resources and opportunities for collaboration across borders and ministries. Liaisons work to facilitate shared ministry without adding layers of approval, replacing existing relationships, or initiating top-down programs.
  • Mission Specialists – Provide strategic and operational support, including grants management, communications, logistics, and project coordination.
